Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Thomas H. Leuzinger, 54, Monroe, reported no injuries at 4:20 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, after a deer collided with Leuzinger's vehicle in the N9600 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

- Sami A. Rood, 37, South Wayne, and a passenger reported no injuries at 6:35 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, after a deer collided with Rood's vehicle in the N1400 block of Allen Road in the Town of Cadiz. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Duane S. Keast, 49, Decatur, Ill., reported no injuries at 12:18 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, after hitting a deer on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Blanchard. His vehicle was moderately damaged.

- Ricky L. Hill, 46, Shullsburg, sustained non-life-threatening injuries but declined medical transport following a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot reported at 4:03 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16. Hill was driving a 2005 Chevrolet westbound when he crossed over the lanes of traffic and hit a tree in the opposite ditch. He told deputies he had fallen asleep. Rural Medical Ambulance, Gratiot First Response and the Gratiot Fire Department assisted at the scene. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
