MONROE - On Monday, Jan. 28:

• Kasey L. Chrostowski, 34, Monroe, was taken by private vehicle to medical treatment for injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle crash reported at 6:33 a.m. in the Town of Sylvester. She was northbound in the N3600 block of Monroe Sylvester Road when her vehicle began sliding downhill on the ice-covered road. It veered off the east side of the road and dropped down over a culvert, where it came to a rest. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.

• Erika M. Hartwig, 29, Monticello, was uninjured in a crash reported at 8 a.m. on Church Road near Tucker Road. Hartwig lost control on the ice-covered road and the vehicle went into the ditch backwards, causing moderate damage.

• Emilie J. Glotfelty, 34, New Glarus, was uninjured in a crash reported at 9:18 a.m. on County O near Old Madison Road in the Town of New Glarus. She lost control on an ice-covered curve in the road and the vehicle veered off the road and into a farm fence, causing minor damage. It was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Monday, Jan. 28:

• A deputy investigated a hit-and-run accident on East Truth Street in Shullsburg at 12:34 a.m. An unknown vehicle struck a legally parked vehicle belonging to Sally Wiegel, 62, Shullsburg, and then left the scene.

• Patsy I. Steiner, 69, Darlington, reported no injuries at 3 p.m. after she hit a deer on County F in the Town of Fayette. The vehicle was moderately damaged.
