Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 3 p.m. Tuesday at Eighth Avenue and Sixth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Betty J. Coleman, 49, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by James A. Schlough, 43, Monroe. Schlough's vehicle received moderate damage. Coleman was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the W7400 block of County B. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Talib A. Al-Ashail, 38, Freeport, Ill., went into the ditch and hit a fence and a tree due to slippery road conditions. His vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 3 p.m. Tuesday in the N1800 block of Wisconsin 69. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Nicolet C. Ludewig, 25, Freeport, Ill., went into the ditch and overturned. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Speed and road conditions were contributing factors.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on County F in Seymour township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Gregario Hernandez-Landa, 41, Darlington, left the road and overturned due to slippery road conditions. He was cited for driving without a valid license and driving too fast for conditions. His vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
