MONROE - Police were dispatched at 4:12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 to the intersection of 11th Street and 7th Avenue for a report of a two-vehicle accident. James J. Lehnherr, 67, Argyle, was operating a vehicle while emerging from a parking lot and hit with a vehicle traveling west on 11th Street. Lehnherr was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way while entering the roadway.

MONROE - On Saturday, Jan. 25:

• Stephanie M. Lokken, 20, Oregon, was uninjured when she lost control of her vehicle due to ice on the roadway at East Lake Avenue and North Pratt Road, Village of Monticello at 9:08 a.m. The vehicle entered the ditch, became stuck and was later towed from the scene.

• Deputies responded at 6:24 p.m. to the W4600 block of Wis. 11, Jefferson Township for a semi vs. deer collision. Richard A. Ostrander, 53, Monroe, was uninjured while heading westbound when a deer entered the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Deputies along with Brooklyn EMS, fire departments and Belleville Police responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash in the W1400 block of Zweifel Road, Brooklyn Township at 11:21 p.m. Matthew G. Goke, 19, Belleville, was uninjured after he lost control of his vehicle due to ice on the roadway. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled once before coming to rest on its side. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 1:04 p.m. in the W3700 block of County F, Mt. Pleasant Township. John R. Anderson, 49, Monticello, was eastbound when he slowed his vehicle to turn into a residence. Rodeny W. Haraldson, 49, New Glarus, was also eastbound and attempted to pass Anderson's vehicle when his vehicle was hit by Anderson's and became stuck in the ditch. Anderson was warned for no stop lamps, and Haraldson was warned for passing in a double yellow zone.
