MONROE - Karie R. Capion, 39, Freeport, Ill., was cited for unreasonable speed following a two-vehicle accident around 7:30 a.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69 and 21st Street. Police report her vehicle hit a vehicle driven by Kim L. Sulzer, 51, Monroe. Both vehicles received moderate damage.
• Roger S. Ward, 47, Monroe, was cited for unsafe backing following a two-vehicle accident around 8 a.m. Friday in the 1500 block of 30 1/2 Avenue. Police report War's vehicle hit a vehicle driven by Helen B. Cotherman, 68, Monroe. Both vehicles received minor to moderate damage.
• Police are investigating a hit and run one-vehicle accident which occurred around 2 a.m. Friday at Eighth Street and 10th Avenue. Police report a vehicle registered to Robert A. Lee, 21, Monroe, hit several street signs and got stuck on top of a snow bank. The driver fled the scene. The vehicle received moderate damage.

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 5:45 p.m. Friday on Wis. 104 in Brooklyn township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Linda L. Weber, 53, Blanchardville, slid off the road, across a private driveway and into a ditch. Weber sustained non-life threatening injuries and didn't seek medical attention at the scene. The vehicle received minor damage.
• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 2:45 p.m. Friday on Wis. 104 south of Atkinson road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kari A. Hamele, 32, Evansville, slid off the road and hit a fence. A six-month-old passenger in the vehicle, Ivan J. Hamele, sustained minor injuries. No medical attention was sought at the scene. The vehicle received minor damage.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 8:45 a.m. Friday on North Rutland Avenue and Wis. 92 in Brooklyn. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Donald R. Moore, 20, Madison, was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Kenneth J. Joyce, 61, Brodhead. Joyce's vehicle received moderate damage.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 3:45 p.m. Friday on Wis. 69 at Pierce Road in Washington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Mary L. Showers, 39, New Glarus, was attempting to pass a vehicle driven by Kurt M. Fuchs, 47, Monroe, on the right when it slid into Fuchs' vehicle. Fuchs' vehicle received extensive damage and Showers' vehicle received minor damage. Showers was cited for imprudent speed and released pending court.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 10:30 a.m. Friday on Mill Road near Town Center Road in Spring Grove township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Benjamin E. Knorr, 28, Janesville, was coming out of a driveway and couldn't stop due to snow and ice on the driveway. The vehicle went off the road and overturned on its side. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 2 p.m. Friday on Statz Road near Ladwig Road in Sylvester township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by George W. Deem, 50, Monroe, failed to negotiate a curve, slid off the road and hit a tree. The vehicle received minor damage.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around midnight Saturday on County KK near Coplien Road in Monroe township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Eric A. Erickson, 27, Argyle, was pulling out of a business parking lot and hit a vehicle driven by Amy J. Myers, 22, Monroe. Myers' vehicle received moderate damage and Erickson's truck received minor damage. The case remains under investigation.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 7 p.m. Friday on County N south of Wis. 81. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Richard K O'Rourke, 71, Monroe, went off the road, down an embankment and overturned. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 8:45 p.m. Friday on Wis. 11 near Murray Street in Cadiz township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Robert A. Werren Jr., 18, Browntown, hit a guardrail. The vehicle received moderate damages.
• A vehicle driven by Austin J. Guerin, 16, Monroe, hit a deer around 11 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 59 near Meyers Road in Sylvester township. The vehicle received moderate damages.

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 4:15 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 151 in Kendall township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jason E. Rom, 21, Gotham, slid across the road and hit a bridge. Rom reported a leg injury but refused medical attention. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
• Aaron C. Fitzsimons, 21, Darlington, was arrested for drunken driving after a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch around 10 p.m. Saturday on County Z in Darlington township. He was released pending court.
• Samantha J. Smith, 19, Monroe, was cited for underage drinking, transporting alcohol and failure to have control of her vehicle following a report of a vehicle in a ditch around 6:45 a.m. Friday on Jordan Wiota Road in Wiota township.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 10 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Seymour township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jacob D. Crase, 23, Lanark, Ill., slid across the road, went into a ditch and overturned. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 7:30 a.m. Saturday on County F in Blanchard township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Roger J. Stampfli, 32, Blanchardville, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit some small trees. Stampfli then left the scene. He was cited for failure to have control of his vehicle, allowing open intoxicants in a vehicle and failure to notify police of an accident.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 10:30 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 78 in Gratiot township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Katherine A. Johnson, 44, Gratiot, went into a ditch. The vehicle received moderate damage.
• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 10:45 a.m. Saturday on Otter Creek Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Katie R. Kieffer, 16, Darlington, hit a snow bank. The vehicle received moderate damage.
• A vehicle driven by Kathy J. Bennett, 52, Gratiot, hit several horses that ran onto the road around 6 a.m. Friday on Wis. 78 in Gratiot township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
• A vehicle driven by Tyrel T. Douglas, 19, Darlington, hit a deer around 9:30 a.m. Saturday on Shortcut Road in Willow Springs township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
