Monroe Police

Monroe - No one was injured in a three-vehicle collision around 4:15 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Ninth Street and 18th Avenue. Matthew P. Baumgartner, 16, Monroe, was cited for driving too fast for conditions, and Carlos Ojeda, 17, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid driver's license. Baumgartner's vehicle struck Ojeda's vehicle, which then struck the vehicle of Clarence H. Martin, 49, Monroe. The vehicles received minor to severe damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision around 4 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Sixth Street and First Avenue. Joseph P. Lepore, 24, Monroe, was cited for completing an improper left turn. Lepore struck a vehicle operated by Jessica D. Zimmerman Stiner, 20, Monroe. The vehicles received moderate damage.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 8 p.m. Thursday on Mt. Hope Road north of Giese Road. Sandra J. Hatfield, 54, Brodhead, lost control of her vehicle and slid into the ditch. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Christopher M. Miller, 28, Beloit, hit a deer around 4 a.m. Thursday in the W500 block of Wisconsin 81. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 9 a.m. Thursday on Wayne Center Road in Wayne township. A 1999 Dodge Ram, driven by Eric K. Lange, 29, South Wayne, was traveling behind a 1995 International snow plow driven by James D. Plear, 24, Browntown. Lange was unable to stop becasue of slippery road conditions and struck the rear of the plow. Report of damages to the vehicles was not available.

• A vehicle driven by Arthur A Dammen, 66, South Beloit, hit a deer around 12:30 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township. A damage report was not available.
