MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 6 a.m. Tuesday at Wisconsin 69 and 11th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Laura M. Frontz, 44, South Wayne, collided with a vehicle driven by Scott W. Tell, 44, Freeport, Ill. Tell was taken to Monroe Clinic for minor injuries by Green County Emergency Medical Services. Frontz was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn. Both vehicles received moderate damage and were towed.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of 14th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Curt L. Blankenhagen, 45, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Jessica A. Wright, 19, Monroe. Wrights' vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Fourth Avenue West. Police report a vehicle driven by Gloria R. Amacher, 67, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Sarah L. Gobeli, 26, Monroe, Amacher was cited for yield the right of way. Both vehicles received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 11:15 p.m. Monday in the W3700 block of Hummer Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Amanda L. Edwards, 24, Monroe, rolled onto its side. Edwards sustained a non-life threatening injury. She was cited for drunken driving, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and non-registration of a vehicle. She was released pending court. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday on County E near County EE. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Timothy Anderson, 19, Albany, left the road and overturned in a ditch. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions and released pending court. His vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday on County A west of Badger Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Valerie J. Weihman-Rock, 50, Argyle, hit a tree due to slippery road conditions. She was taken to an area hospital. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday on Dougherty Creek Road near Quarry Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jamie L. Batz, 31, Monroe, left the road, went down an embankment and hit a tree stump due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Brunkow Road south of County KS. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Joshua J. Popanz, 17, Brodhead, left the road and hit a utility pole due to snow on the road. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the W2900 block of Greenbush Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Michael A. Johnson, 45, Brodhead, hit a stop sign. Johnson's vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Gregory R. Frechette, 28, Darlington, swerved to avoid a deer, went into ditch and hit an embankment. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• A report was filed for a hit and run accident around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday that occurred the previous night on Water Street in Shullsburg. Deputies report a legally parked vehicle owned by Ann Bradfield, Shullsburg, was hit by an unknown vehicle. Bradfield's vehicle received minor damage.
