Monroe Police MONROE - Officers were dispatched at 10:04 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 to 16th Avenue and 15th Street for a traffic accident with no injuries. Margery K. Veseling, 54, St. Charles, Ill., was driving her vehicle when it hit a vehicle driven by John A. Severson, 55, Monroe. Veseling was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.
