DARLINGTON - A deputy responded at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, to a one-vehicle accident in the Town of Fayette. Sean Dagens, 42, Marengo, Ill., was eastbound on County G when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to slide off the shoulder. The vehicle hit a traffic sign, lost a wheel and came to rest in a field. Dagens was gone before the deputy arrived on scene. The vehicle was towed.
n Kevin L. Larson, 49, Monroe, reported at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, that he hit a deer on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Argyle.
