SHERIFF

MONROE - On Thursday:

• A driver and his passenger were injured at 6:28 a.m. after a one-vehicle accident in the N4900 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Washington. Andreas Mueller, 54, Oregon, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch, where his vehicle rolled several times before finally striking a house and coming to a stop. Mueller and his passenger, Brandt C. Schneider, 39, Madison, were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Mueller's vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The house sustained moderate foundation and porch damage.

• No injuries were reported at 4:34 p.m. after a hit-and-run accident in the W5700 block of County P, Town of Clarno. Brian J. Wyss, 45, Monroe lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch before he left the scene with the assistance of Jay J. Foulker, 45, Monroe. Police contacted Foulker, who admitted giving Wyss a ride. Wyss' vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene to the Green County Sheriff's impound.

• No injuries were reported at 5:51 p.m. after Grant A. Gilbertson, 91, Argyle, struck a deer in the W8100 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:41 p.m. after Jacob J. Johnson, 19, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch in the N600 block of Clarno Road, Town of Clarno, where he struck a culvert and stopped in a field. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported at 5:51 a.m. after Kyle J. Mulcahy, 23, Darlington, struck a deer on County H, Town of Benton. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 6:47 a.m. after Mary Ann Germaine, 46, Cuba City, struck a deer on County I, Town of New Diggings. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• Two drivers were injured at 10:05 a.m. after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of County O and County W, Town of White Oak Springs. Kelly A. Stephens, 49, Shullsburg, struck the vehicle of William E. Eaton, 68, Shullsburg, when Eaton crossed the intersection. Stephens was transported to a nearby hospital for her injuries, while Eaton refused treatment for his. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
