MONROE - Matthew M. Gruber, 32, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign following a two-vehicle collision at about 11:15 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 10th Street and 25th Avenue. Gruber struck a vehicle operated by Michael R. Patterson, 28, Monroe. Patterson was cited for expired registration. No one was injured, and both vehicles received moderate damage.
Nicole L. Wild, 17, Monroe, was cited for unsafe backing following a two-vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 2600 block of 16th Avenue. Wild hit a vehicle driven by Matthew P. Baumgartner. No one was injured, and the vehicle received minor to moderate damage.

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle, non-collision accident at about 3:40 p.m. Monday in the W6300 block of Wisconsin 81 in Monroe township. Christopher R. Dearth, 29, Monroe, was cited for driving too fast for conditions and released pending court. Deputies report Dearth was traveling eastbound, lost control of his vehicle and drove into the lane of John M. Meyers, 53, Barneveld, traveling westbound. Meyers was forced to drive into a ditch to avoid a collision. Meyers sustained an injury. Neither vehicle received damage.

DARLINGTON - One person received injuries following a two-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Monday on Burr Oak Road in Kendall township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Drew Craugh, 18, Mineral Point, struck a snow plow, driven by Robert Suchomel, 83, Shullsburg, as it was making a right turn. Craugh was transported to Southwest Health Center by Belmont ambulance.
A deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch at about 4:45 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 151 in Kendall township. No further information was available.
