MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 59 at County S. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Grant G. Harmon, 36, Machesney Park, Ill., failed to stop at the intersection, went off the road, hit an embankment and became entangled in a fence. He sustained injuries but declined medical attention. He was arrested for second-offense driving under the influence, open intoxicants in a vehicle and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was released pending court. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on Woodberry Road in Willow Springs township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Katie Loken, 17, Darlington, turned into the path of a vehicle driven by Shawn Long, 35, Darlington. Both vehicles were towed.
