Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West 6th Avenue and West 10 1/2 Street. Travis C. Henricks, 32, Monroe, was cited at 10:38 p.m. Friday for driving while intoxicated, second offense, following the accident. A second driver, Taylor J. P. Teasdale, 18, Monroe, was eastbound on 10 1/2 Street when his vehicle hit Henricks' vehicle. Teasdale was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and towed from the scene. Both subjects were released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Paige M. Taylor, 40, Browntown, was uninjured in a deer vs. car crash that occurred in the W7500 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Cadiz, at 6:45 a.m. Friday. Taylor was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her car. The car was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

On Saturday:

• Ashley Helen Clapper, 25, Albany, and her passenger were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred on County F north of Decatur Albany Road, Town of Mt. Pleasant, at 6:39 a.m. Clapper was northbound on County F when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front of her vehicle. The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was driven from the scene.

• Patricia M. Bump, 50, Belleville, and her passenger were uninjured in a one-vehicle accident in the N7700 block of Marshall Bluff Road, Town of Exeter, at 10:12 a.m. Bump was northbound on a private driveway when her vehicle slid off the roadway due to icy conditions and hit a tree. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

• Andrew J. Wozniak, 28, Lockport, Ill., and his two passengers were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident on Wis. 69 south of Exeter Crossing Road, Town of New Glarus, at 2:15 p.m. Wozniak was southbound on Wis. 69 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit his vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

• Angela Connie Rieder, 36, Monroe, and her two passengers were uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Aebly Road, Town of Monroe, at 5:23 p.m. Rieder was southbound on Wis. 69 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front of her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

• Todd A. Thoman, 45, Monticello, was arrested at 7:01 p.m. for driving while intoxicated after deputies were responding to a truck that had hit a tree and found Thoman walking southbound on Marty Road. The reporting party told deputies the crash occurred in the W6700 block of Legler Valley Road, Town of New Glarus. Thoman told deputies he was westbound on Legler Valley Road and lost control in a curve hitting the tree. Thoman had injuries but declined medical attention. He was released pending court. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.

• Alexander M. Engels, 19, Monroe, was uninjured in a one-car accident in the W6500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe, at 9:50 p.m. Engels was eastbound when he lost control of his car on the snow-covered road and went into the ditch where the car hit a sign. The car was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.

On Sunday:

• Brenetta E. Hall, 53, Freeport, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the N8100 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus, at 11:05 p.m. Hall was southbound when several deer ran into the roadway and one hit Hall's vehicle before she lost control on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle then hit a guardrail on the east side of the road. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene. The guardrail received no damage.

• Christina Marie Hendrickson, 29, Belleville, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wisconsin 92 and County W, Town of Exeter, at 9:42 a.m. Hendrickson was southbound on Wis. 92 when she lost control in a curve and hit a sign post. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Christina Kundanis, 57, Medinah, Ill., reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wisconsin 78, Gratiot Township, at 10:12 p.m. Friday.

• Krissa Griffiths, 33, Darlington, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Wisconsin 81, Darlington Township, at 12:28 a.m. Saturday.

On Sunday:

• Due to hazardous road conditions in the Lafayette County area, 12 vehicle slide-offs were reported at about 2 p.m.

• A deputy provided traffic control along U.S. 151, Township of Benton, due to multiple cars in the ditch and median.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police and Green County deputies assisted with a deer vs. vehicle crash in the W5600 block of County H, at 6:09 p.m. Thursday.

• Police assisted Green County deputies with a vehicle in the ditch on Wis. 69 near County H, at 11:04 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle had lost control and hit a guardrail, and then the vehicle fled the scene.

• Police assisted Green County deputies at 1:44 p.m. Sunday with a vehicle in the ditch in the W6100 block of Wisconsin 39. The vehicle was removed by a tow service.
