MONROE - On Friday:
Justin L. Buetleman, 21, Monroe, was cited at 7:32 a.m. for failure to notify police of an accident following a one-vehicle accident on County KS at County K, Town of Jefferson. Buetleman was uninjured after his westbound vehicle on County KS lost control in a curve, hit a snowbank and sent the vehicle airborne and then into the ditch. Buetleman told deputies he attempted to free the vehicle but was unsuccessful. Buetleman then allegedly fled the scene and was later located by deputies. He was cited and released pending court.
A passerby reported a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 39 near York Valley Road, Town of York, and told dispatch that the driver was given a ride to a residence in Dane County. Investigation revealed the driver was Clark J. Mislivecek, 24, Blanchardville, and he was eastbound on Wis. 39 when he lost control of his vehicle, veered over the center line, entered the ditch and hit a sign post before going through a barbed wire fence. Mislivecek was cited at 6:53 p.m. for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to notify law enforcement of a crash and was uninjured in the crash. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.
On Sunday:
Deputies were notified of a crash that occurred on Saturday in the W9600 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. Lauren E. Welch, 28, Monroe, was cited at 8:03 a.m. for failure to notify law enforcement of a crash. Welch reported she was uninjured and was eastbound on Wis. 39 when she swerved to avoid a deer and her vehicle went into the ditch and hit a fence. The vehicle was severely damaged and driven from the scene. Welch was released pending court.
Leah H. Hansen, 49, New Glarus, was uninjured in a car vs. deer crash that occurred on Sunday in the W7700 block of County H, Town of York. Hansen reported at 11:11 a.m. she had been traveling on County H when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her car. The car sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:
Buncha N. Budwong, 28, Blanchardville, was cited at 6:53 a.m. for failure to keep a vehicle under control, failure to notify law enforcement of an accident, abandoned vehicle and driving left of center after a deputy reported a hit-and-run accident on Wisconsin 78, Blanchard Township. Budwong reported he swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway and ended up on the opposite side of the road facing the wrong way. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
Kimberly J. Hull, 38, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer with her vehicle on Larse Road, Gratiot Township, at 8:15 p.m.
Blake Cwynar, 17, Argyle, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on County F, Fayette Township, at 8:24 p.m.
