DARLINGTON - On Feb. 15:

♦ Minor injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 3:57 p.m. on County B in Wayne Township. Denise M. Christner, 45, South Wayne, was traveling on County B and lost control of her vehicle, causing her to strike a pole. Christner's 2008 Chevrolet Impala sustained moderate damage and was towed. South Wayne First Response, South Wayne Fire Department and Monroe EMS assisted on scene.

♦ No injuries were reported when Denyse M. Galbreth, 65, Orangeville, Illinois, struck a deer at 6:21 p.m. on Wis. 81, Argyle Township. Galbreth's Dodge Journey sustained moderate damage and was towed.

♦ Michelle A. Schernecker, 32, Poynette, struck a deer at 6:28 p.m. on U.S. 151, Belmont Township. Schernecker's Ford sustained moderate damage and was towed. Wisconsin State Patrol assisted on scene.

♦ No injuries were reported when Rickey L. Galbreth, 66, Orangeville, Illinois, struck a deer at 6:51 p.m. on County C, Argyle Township. Galbreth's 2000 Dodge sustained minor damage.

On Feb. 16:

♦ No injuries were reported when Hans P. McGrath, 70, Monroe, struck a deer at 6:21 a.m. on Roller Coaster Road, Darlington Township. McGrath's 2001 Toyota sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

♦ No injuries were reported when Peter F. Bonin, 37, Belmont, struck a deer at 6:21 p.m. on County G, Belmont Township. Bonin's 2015 GMC sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

♦ No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 4:29 a.m. on Monroe Street in Argyle. Jessica D. A. Montano, 35, Argyle, was traveling on Monroe Street when she struck a parked car owned by Steven A. Foster, 54, Argyle. Montano's 2005 Chrysler and Foster's 2016 Nissan sustained moderate damage and were towed.

On Feb. 17:

♦ A one-vehicle crash was reported at 3:47 p.m. on South Prairie Road in Monticello Township. Christopher M. Wurtzbacher, 43, Gratiot, was traveling eastbound when they hit slush on the road and lost control. Wurtzbacher struck a power pole and caused severe damage to his 2003 Dodge Neon. It was towed from the scene.

On Feb. 19:

♦ A one-vehicle crash was reported at 3:04 p.m. on Truman Road in Kendall Township. Tori E. Foecking, 20, Brodhead, was traveling on Truman Road when she left the roadway causing the vehicle to strike a pole. Foecking's 2000 Pontiac sustained severe damage and was towed. Belmont Fire Department, Belmont Ambulance Service, and the Belmont Police Department assisted on scene.

♦ Jessica A. Kohl, 32, Gratiot, struck a deer at 10:10 p.m. on Wis. 78, Wiota Township. Kohl's Chevrolet Equinox sustained minor damage.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 6:17 a.m. Feb. 18 on Jeffery Road and Town Center Road in the Town of Clarno. Ryan D. Siegel, 24, Juda, was southbound on Jeffery Road when he failed to stop at the stop sign at Jeffery Road and Town Center Road and collided with a roof of a garage and then a fence. Siegel's vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the yard of the residence and then driven from the scene. Siegel was cited for driving too fast for conditions and was released pending court.

On Feb. 19:

♦ Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of County C and County CC in the Town of Mt. Pleasant. John P. Zanoya, 58, Monticello, was southbound on County CC approaching the intersection of County C, when he reported that he fell asleep. Zanoya's vehicle continued through the intersection and entered the ditch of County C. Zanoya was injured in the crash and was transported by EMS to UW Hospital. Zanoya's vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Zanoya was cited for inattentive driving and was released pending court. Monticello Police, Monticello First Response and New Glarus EMS also responded.
