DARLINGTON POLICE
DARLINGTON - Elebic Soto-Alverto, 30, Darlington, was cited at 7 a.m. Saturday after being involved in a hit-and-run collision on Division Street. Soto-Alverto was cited for driving without a license, failing to notify police of an accident, committing a hit-and-run and failing to maintain control of his vehicle.

DARLINGTON - On Saturday:
No injuries were reported at 4:08 p.m. after Haley H. Heins, 21, Mineral Point, struck a deer on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
No injuries were reported at 6:53 p.m. after Michael A. Dunlavy, 63, Browntown, struck a deer on Old Q Road in Blanchardville. His vehicle sustained minor damage.
On Sunday:
No injuries were reported at 2:51 a.m. after Denis A. Lopez-Cruz, 29, Darlington, swerved to avoid a deer on County F, Town of Seymour and entered a ditch. Lopez-Cruz was cited for driving while intoxicated (first offense), driving without vehicle insurance, driving without a valid license and failure to maintain control of his vehicle. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
A driver sustained minor injuries at 11:17 a.m. after an accident on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall. Tierney J. Cash, 20, Oregon, lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway and struck a bridge. Cash was transported to a local hospital for her injuries. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported at 11:30 a.m. after Morgan A. Buckingham, 18, Dodgeville, lost control of her vehicle and struck the same bridge on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
A driver sustained minor injuries at 12:09 p.m. after Austin N. Duhigg, 20, Walworth, slid off the roadway on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot, and struck a tree. Duhigg was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported at 1:17 p.m. after Edwin T. Phend, 54, Shullsburg, slid into a sign on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg. His vehicle sustained minor damage.
No injuries were reported at 2:48 p.m. after a one-vehicle rollover accident on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall. Brandon J. Brant, 19, Platteville, lost control of his vehicle and began skidding before rolling over in the roadway. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
