MONROE - On Monday, Feb. 11:

• Jared Flaherty Shelerud, 29, Monticello, and his passenger reported no injuries at 7:02 a.m. from a one-vehicle crash in the N9400 block of County CC in the Town of Exeter. Shelerud was northbound when he lost control on the ice-covered road. The vehicle went off the east side of the road and overturned, coming to a rest on its driver's side. It was moderately damaged and towed.

• No injuries were reported at 7:55 a.m. after a school bus driven by Bobby L. Wunschel, 72, Juda, hit a parked vehicle belonging to Amy S. Krass, 33, Juda, in the circle drive of the Juda Schools parking lot. The bus was undamaged. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• No injuries were reported at 8:55 a.m. in a two-vehicle accident in the W5800 block of Wisconsin 11/81. Shirley A. Boelk, 52, Monticello, had just entered the highway using the ramp from Wis. 69 South when a vehicle driven by Owen L. Nally, 28, Monroe, also eastbound, lost control and hit the passenger side of Boelk's vehicle, causing moderate damage. Nally's vehicle sustained minor damage. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 9:05 a.m. in a one-vehicle crash on Wis. 92 near Dayton Street in Brooklyn. Bret W. Austin, 46, Edgerton, told deputies he was negotiating a curve when he slid on some ice into a power pole and a telephone junction box. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the front and undercarriage. It was towed.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday, Feb. 11:

• No injuries were reported at 2:30 a.m. after Thomas C. Clayton, 50, Belmont, hit a tree that had fallen across Sales Barn Road in the Town of Elk Grove.

• Christina T. Meylor, 33, Darlington, reported at 6:50 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, that she hit a deer on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Brodie G. Flannery, 20, Darlington, reported possible injuries and was taken by private vehicle to a hospital following a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 78 in the Town of Wiota at 9 p.m. Flannery was a passenger in a 1996 Toyota Camry driven by Haleigh J. Falsey, 16, Argyle. Falsey was southbound and negotiating a curve near Stuart Road when she lost control on some black ice. The vehicle hit the guardrail and bridge, causing severe damage to the Toyota Camry. Falsey reported no injuries. The car was driven from the scene.
