Monroe Police

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 12:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of West Eighth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Earl M. Thompson, 42, Galena, hit a vehicle driven by Elizabeth M. Adams, 67, Monroe. Both vehicles received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 6:30 p.m. Monday at 17th Street and 16th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Tyreisha J. Gibson, 16, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Kandie R. Attewell, 21, McFarland. Gibson was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Both vehicles received moderate damage.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 6:15 p.m. Feb. 5 at 12th Avenue and Fourth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Rudi Feller, 44, New Glarus, slid into a utility pole while trying to make a turn. The vehicle received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around noon Monday on County G near County K. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Robert M. Moore, 27, Freeport, Ill., swerved to avoid a snow bank and hit a Spring Grove township snowplow driven by Kevin G. Malkow, 45, Brodhead. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Moore's vehicle was towed. Speed was a contributing factor in the crash.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 2:30 p.m. Monday on St. Rose Road in Benton township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jed T. Adams, 18, Benton, left the road, overturned and came to rest in a creek due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Sharon M. Foley, 25, Darlington, hit a raccoon around 9 p.m. Monday on County F in Darlington township.
