Lafayette County sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Feb. 7:

• No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 5:54 a.m. on Sawmill Road in Blanchard Township. Sean E. Burton, 47, Argyle, was traveling on Sawmill Road when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Burton's 2010 Ford sustained moderate damage and was towed.

On Feb. 8:

• No injuries were reported when Karie A. Johnston, 45, Platteville, struck a deer at 7:22 a.m. on Cottage Inn Road, Belmont Township. Johnston's 2016 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Thad R. Brenum, 25, Gratiot, struck a deer at 7:41 a.m. on County D, Wiota Township. Brenum's 2016 Buick sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Feb. 7:

• No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 6:51 a.m. on Wis. 39 in the Town of York. Kayla A. Gray, 20, Monticello was eastbound when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.

• Injuries were reported during a crash at 7:44 a.m. in the W2300 block of Wis. 59 in Albany. Madeline L. McCulloch, 42, Albany, was westbound on STH 59 when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch and struck a power pole. McCulloch was injured in the crash but declined medical attention. McCulloch was wearing her seat belt. The air bags deployed in the vehicle. The vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 6:09 p.m. in the N1800 block of Jeffrey Road in the Town of Clarno. Jacob R. Amacher, 16, Monroe, was traveling north when his vehicle began to slide on the ice-covered roadway. The vehicle entered the ditch where it collided with a tree stump. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.

• Deputies responded to a crash scene where the driver left at 5:41 p.m. Feb. 3 in the N2300 block of County S in the Town of Jefferson. Rene P. Zimmerman, 37, was southbound when he lost control and entered the ditch and struck a road sign. Zimmerman left the scene and did not report the crash. There was no apparent damage to the vehicle and it was towed from the scene. Zimmerman was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control, possession of drug paraphernalia, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, unauthorized display of registration and operating after revocation (2nd offense,forfeiture). Zimmerman was released pending court.

On Feb. 8:

• No injuries were reported during a single-vehicle crash at 4:06 p.m. in the N5700 block of Biggs Road in the Town of Adams. Stephanie A. James, 16, Argyle, was traveling north when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve on the slush-covered road. James entered the ditch where she collided with an embankment. The vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.
