Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported when Steven J. Boyle, 66, Darlington, struck a deer at 5:09 a.m. on County F, Fayette Township. Boyle's 2004 Dodge Caravan sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 1:46 p.m. on U.S. 151 in Kendall Township.

• Minor injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 2:42 p.m. on County KK in Gratiot Township. Emily H. Meier, 27, Warren, Illinois, was traveling on County KK when she lost control of her Pontiac Grand Prix and went into the ditch. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed.

• No injuries were reported when Payton W. Collins, 29, Monroe, struck a deer at 6:07 p.m. on Wis. 11, Wayne Township. Collins's 2011 GMC Sierra sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Jessica L. Corley, 30, Gratiot, struck a deer at 6:34 p.m. on Ames Road, Darlington Township. Corley's 2013 Ford Explorer sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle crash at 2:44 p.m. on Wis. 104 at Wis. 59 in Albany. Alexander L. Lange, 22, Albany, was northbound on Wis. 104 when he attempted to turn west on Wis. 59. Lange slid through the intersection colliding with a traffic sign post. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Lange was cited for driving without insurance and was released pending court.

• No injuries were reported during a vehicle versus fence crash at 3:09 p.m. in the W9100 block of County Y in Jordan Township. Mitchell S. Cernek, 25, Gratiot, was eastbound on County Y when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve. Cernek then entered the ditch and went through a fence. The snow-covered road was a factor in the crash. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday:

• No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 9:51 a.m. in the 900 block of 8th Street. Ronald J. Stearns, 81, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old Monroe man. The vehicle sustained moderate damages. Stearns was cited for inattentive driving and was released pending court.
