GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• No injuries were reported at 6:35 a.m. after two vehicles struck a deer on Wisconsin 69, Town of New Glarus. Justin E. Johnson, 32, Monroe, struck a deer, knocking the animal into the opposite lane, where it was struck by Keith A. Barnes, 55, Middleton. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage; Johnson's was towed from the scene, and Barnes' was driven from the scene.

• Glenda J. Smith, 31, South Wayne, was cited at 2:02 p.m. for failing to keep her vehicle under control, committing a hit-and-run, failing to notify police of an accident and driving without vehicle insurance in connection with an accident that took place Monday on Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz. Daniel F. Baumgartner, 29, South Wayne, was also cited for knowingly assisting someone fleeing the scene of an accident.

• No injuries were reported at 4:46 p.m. after William E. Krueger, 47, Albany, struck a deer in the W1100 block of Bump Road, Town of Albany. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:09 p.m. after Jeremy M. Arn, 42, Brodhead, struck a deer in the W4900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• No injuries were reported at 10:11 p.m. after a one-vehicle rollover accident on Ballard Road, Town of Willow Springs. Denver A. Banfield, 16, Cuba City, swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway, causing her to lose control of her vehicle, rolling over several times before stopping in a field. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• A hit-and-run was reported at 10:58 p.m. on West Main Street in Benton.
