MONROE - On Monday:

• Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at 1:24 p.m. at Wisconsin 11 and Lumber Yard Road in the Town of Jefferson. Georgia J. Grenzow, 88, Monroe, was eastbound on Wis. 11 when a westbound vehicle driven by Kay V. Gajdosik, 70, Brodhead, attempted to turn south on Lumber Yard Road and collided with Grenzow's vehicle. Gajdosik was not injured; her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Grenzow was injured and was transported by EMS to the Monroe Emergency Room. A passenger in Grenzow's vehicle, Karen G. Grenzow, 56, Monroe, was not injured. Grenzow's vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Gajdosik was cited for failure to yield right of way and was released pending court. Juda Fire and Green County EMS also responded.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• No injuries were reported when Anthony D. Buss, 33, Blanchardville, struck a deer at 5:49 p.m. on County G in Argyle Township. Buss's 2005 Honda Accord sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
