Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported when Terry L. Deininger, 42, Galena, Illinois, struck a deer at 7:05 a.m. on Wisconsin 11, Benton Township.  Deininger's GMC sustained moderate damage and was towed.

• No injuries were reported when Harold Morrison,79, Darlington, struck a deer at 6:50 p.m. on County G, Willow Springs Township. Morrison's Ford Escape sustained minor damage.

On Sunday:

• Lauren L. Welsh, 17, Mineral Point, struck a deer on Prospect Street in Willow Springs Township. 

• No injuries were reported when Milford L. Paulson, 89, Argyle, struck a deer at 5:27 p.m. on Wis. 81, Argyle Township. Paulson's 2017 Ford F150 sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported when Jarrett L. Lancaster, 19, Darlington, struck a deer at 5:51 p.m. on County Shop Road, Darlington Township. Lancaster's 2008 Lincoln MKZ sustained minor damage. Darlington Police assisted.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported when deputies responded to a vehicle fully engulfed in flames at 6:44 a.m. in the W8700 block of Wisconsin 39 in the Town of York. Nicole M. McNeely, 27, Brooklyn, was eastbound on Wis. 39 when smoke began to fill the compartment. McNeely pulled over, opened the hood and located a small fire. The vehicle then became engulfed in fire and Blanchardville Fire was able to extinguish it. The vehicle sustained severe overall damage and was towed.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Dec. 14:

• A minor motor vehicle crash was reported at 8 a.m. in the parking lot of the 200 block of Industrial Avenue. The subjects involved were advised to complete an online self-reporting form with the Department of Transportation.
