NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported during a two-vehicle accident at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 4 in the 400 block of Elmer Road. Reports indicate that that Marc P. Barnaby, 45, New Glarus, was performing a backing maneuver when he hit a parked vehicle. The vehicles were driven from the scene.

MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 12:01 a.m. Sunday on Shanghai Road, west of South Mill Road, in the Town of Spring Grove. Reports indicate that Melvin C. Reckamp, 64, Juda, was traveling westbound on Shanghai Road when he hit a deer. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
- Injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 5:29 p.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 69, at Wittenwyler Road, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant. Reports indicate that Nathan A. Gyurnek, 41, Schaumburg, Ill., was southbound on Wis. 69, turning on to Wittenwyler Road, when his left foot fell off of the foot rest and got caught underneath a rear saddlebag and the pavement. Gyurnek was able to keep the motorcycle upright. He was transported by EMS for treatment of injuries sustained in the incident. The motorcycle was secured at a nearby location. Citations are pending.

DARLINGTON - Vicki L. Krenz, 46, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 5:50 a.m. Saturday on Wis. 78 in the Town of Blanchard. The vehicle received moderate damage.
- Injuries were reported during a motorcycle accident at 7:27 p.m. Saturday at a private driveway on Ingwell Road in the Town of Blanchard. Reports indicate that Dale R. Jelinek, 56, Argyle, was operating a three-wheel motorcycle when he hit a cement parking maker, which caused him to loose control, veer across the driveway and into two parked motorcycle owned by James Zradicka, Verona, and Mark Hartel, Stoughton. His passenger, Brenda J. Enders, 52, Milwaukee, was ejected from the motorcycle. Jelinek and Enders were transported to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital.
- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 1:10 p.m. Sunday on Apple Branch Road in the Town of Argyle. Reports indicate that Michael L. Webster, 37, Argyle, was attempting to pull down a tree from a ditch with his vehicle. When the chain disconnected from the vehicle, Webster exited the vehicle to reconnect it and the vehicle rolled down the embankment and hit the tree. The vehicle received moderate damage.
- A deputy took a report at 8:10 p.m. Sunday at Monroe Clinic Hospital about an accident that occurred on the Cheese County Trail in the Town of Wayne earlier that day. Reports indicate that Daniel R. Jolliffe, 37, DeForest, and his daughter, Dani L. Jolliffe, 12, were taken by private vehicle to the hospital for injuries sustained when she lost control of her ATV, causing the ATV to go off of the trail, and hit a tree.
