Monroe Police

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Virginia M. Severson, 66, Browntown, hit a moped driven by Jamie R. Ditsworth, 35, Monroe. One person sustained injuries. Severson was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received minor damage.

• Franciso Lopez Evodio, 39, Monroe, was cited for driving without insurance and driving after suspension following a two-vehicle accident at about 1:30 p.m. Friday at 16th Street and Wisconsin 69. Police report his vehicle hit a vehicle driven by Margaret M. Gooch, 42, Iroquois, Tenn. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about noon Friday in the 400 block of 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Katie J. Gaulrapp, 20, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Alexis B. Stein, 28, Milwaukee. Gaulrapp was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Friday at 6th Street and 3rd Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Phyllis M. Wenger, 68, Davis, Ill., hit a vehicle driven by Virginia M. Swigen, 76, Argyle. Wenger was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received minor damage.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Sunday at Halfway Tree Road and Wisconsin 81. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Terry J. Regenold, 50, Brodhead, was at a stop sign and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Nathan O. Sarabia, 24, Beloit. Sarabia was cited for following too closely and released pending court. The vehicles received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by William J. Burchard, 38, Belleville, collided with a deer at about noon Saturday on County M south of County C in Adams township. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday on County O in Shullsburg township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Andrew D. Norton, 19, Dubuque, Iowa, rolled over. No further information was available.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday on County J in Benton township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Lane Jacobson, 24, East Troy, left the road and overturned. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
