Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the N7700 block of County A. Gary O. Thompson, 56, Blanchardville, was driving an ATV in a field. An item on the back rack of the ATV began to shift. As Thompson attempted to steady the item, he fell off the ATV. The ATV hit his leg. He was taken by private vehicle to Monroe Clinic.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 69 at 14th Avenue in New Glarus. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Edward J. Paschal III, 39, Monroe, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Todd J. Kriebs, 28, Belleville, which was stopped to make a left turn. Paschal's vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. Kriebs' vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident Aug. 21 that was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Logan Taylor, 21, Darlington, failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a fence on Lange Road in Darlington township.

• Deputies are investigating a report of a hit-and-run crash on South Holland Road in Gratiot township. Deputies report a bridge and a fence were hit by a vehicle that fled the scene.
