MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10:45 a.m. Friday at 21st Street and 4th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Heather R. Hess, 23, Brodhead, collided with a vehicle driven by Ronald D. Woefel, 17, Monroe. Hess was cited for defective brakes.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. Friday at West 8th Street and 4th Avenue West. Police report a vehicle driven by Justin J. Wolber, 21, Lanark, Ill., collided with a vehicle driven by Benjamin D. Thompson, 20, Chicago. Wolber was cited for inattentive driving.

MONROE - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday on County G south of Spring Creek Road in Spring Grove township. Deputies report Paul E. Kaufman, 60, Freeport, Ill., lost control of his motorcycle on uneven pavement. He was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet. He sustained injuries and was taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital by Med Flight.
• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the N1400 block of Clarno Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Glenn H. Scott, 52, Freeport, Ill., swerved to avoid a deer, left the road and hit a tree. He sustained injuries and was taken to the Monroe Clinic. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
