LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF
DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:
• A hit-and-run was reported at 6:17 p.m. on West Moundview Avenue in Belmont.
• No injuries were reported at 7:53 p.m. after Aaron J. Wiegel, 41, Benton, struck a deer on Palfrey Road, Town of Shullsburg. His vehicle sustained moderate damage.
MONROE POLICE
MONROE - A driver sustained minor injuries at 10:02 a.m. Wednesday after Edwin R. Siedschlag, 39, Monroe, struck the vehicle of a 30-year-old Monticello woman at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 8th Street. The woman was injured but declined treatment. Siedschlag was cited for following too closely.
