Monroe Police

MONROE - Paul Marheine, 75, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way and for driving a non-registered vehicle after police responded to 8th Street and 7 1/2 Street for two-vehicle accident with injuries at 4:53 p.m. Sunday. Marheine struck a westbound vehicle on 8th Street as he exited from a business lot. His vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Sunday:

• An vehicle that had been involved in an accident was found abandoned at 12:15 a.m. on County N in the Town of Argyle. A deputy arranged for it to be towed.

• Justin J. Lesser, 17, Benton, reported at 1:53 p.m. that a tree branch hit his vehicle during a storm on Bean Street Road in rural Benton. The vehicle sustained front-end damage. Lesser transported himself by private vehicle to a hospital following the accident.

• No injuries were reported at 2:08 p.m. from a two-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 126 in the Town of Elk Grove.
