MONROE - A vehicle driven by Steven G. Johnson, 49, Blanchardville, collided with a deer at about 8:30 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 78 south of Wis. 39 in York township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

NEW GLARUS POLICE
NEW GLARUS - Franklyn E. Rear, 62, Monroe, was arrested for drunken driving and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration following a three-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Friday on Sixth Avenue near First Street. Police report Rear's vehicle hit parked vehicles owned by Donald J. Buesser, New Glarus, and Harry P. Smith, Freeport, Ill. Rear was released pending court.
