MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:45 p.m. Friday at Wisconsin 69 and Sixth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Melissa J. Semrow, 16, Brodhead, collided with a vehicle driven by David E. Warneke, 60, Cedarville, Ill. Semrow was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received minor damage.

• Barbara J. Keegan, 38, Monroe, was arrested for drunken driving following a one-vehicle accident at about 11 p.m. Friday at 13th Avenue and 14th Street. Police report her vehicle left the road and hit a tree. The vehicle received extensive damage.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about midnight Thursday on County E at Miller Lane in Decatur township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by William R. Henson, 39, Albany, failed to negotiate a curve, hit two highway signs, went up an embankment and became airborne. The vehicle hit the ground and overturned. Henson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to the Monroe Clinic by Brodhead Emergency Medical Services. He was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to fasten his seatbelt. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Susan K. Langmeier, 47, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 7:45 a.m. Friday on County J south of Grossen Road in Adams township.
