Green County Sheriff

MONROE - John P. Dempsey, 41, Rockford, was southbound when he lost control of his vehicle at about 3 p.m. Friday in the N900 block of Mt. Hope, in the Town of Spring Grove. Deputies report the car went into the west ditch where it collided with a power pole and rolled onto its side. Dempsey received injuries, but declined medical attention at the scene. The car received damage and was towed from the scene. Dempsey was cited for operating after driver's license was suspended and released pending court.

• Haley M. Sinklair, 16, Monroe, was negotiating a curve when horses to the south of the roadway distracted her at about 9:15 p.m. Friday in the W5700 block of County P in the Town of Clarno. Deputies report the vehicle went into the south ditch where it collided with a traffic sign's wooden post. The vehicle received damage, was towed out of the ditch and driven from the scene.

• Jeffrey J. Ness, 37, Monroe, was northbound on County D when a deer collided with his vehicle at about 2:45 a.m. Friday on County D and Conway Trail, in the Town of Exeter. The vehicle received damage and was driven from the scene.

• James B. Congdon, 48, Stoughton, was southbound when his vehicle collided with a deer at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday on Wisconsin 104, south of Borchardt Road, in the Town of Decatur. The vehicle sustained damage and was towed from the scene. Rock County Sheriff's Department and Brodhead EMS also responded.

• David R. Zeinert, 46, Monticello, was driving south when he collided with a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 69, north of Hefty Road. The vehicle received damage and was driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a tractor-vehicle accident at about 3:15 p.m. Friday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township. Deputies report Eric J. Davis, 35, Monroe, operating a tractor and spreader, was turning into a field driveway when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Elton F. Segner, 85, Monroe. Segner was attempting to pass when the incident occurred. Darlington Fire Department and Rural Medical responded to the scene.

• No injuries were reported in a hit-and-run accident at about 11 a.m. Sunday on Mountview Avenue in the Village of Belmont. The crash remains under investigation.
