NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Thursday, James E. Zimmerman, 48, Edgerton, was cited for committing a hit-and-run and for inattentive driving after police investigated a crash that occurred on April 17 in the 300 block of 10th Avenue.

On Friday, no injuries were reported at 2:06 p.m. after a two-vehicle accident in the 500 block of 6th Street. A truck pulling a trailer had struck a legally parked car.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• A driver was injured at 4:45 p.m. after a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 81, Town of Monroe. Ashley D. Olson, 25, Juda, lost control of her vehicle and entered a ditch, where she struck a sign post, a guy wire and a phone box. Olson was transported to a local hospital. She was cited for failure to maintain control of her vehicle and driving left of center. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:07 p.m. after Isaac M. Lindert, 23, Oregon, entered a ditch in the N6800 block of County X, Town of Albany. Lindert was cited for driving too fast for conditions, failure to notify law enforcement of a crash and failure to maintain vehicle airbags. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• A driver was injured at 7:56 p.m. after Jarod N. Amacher, 18, Monroe lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail after a tire blew out on his vehicle. Amacher was transported to a local hospital. His vehicle sustained very severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported after Kody D. Grove, 26, Freeport, struck a deer in the N4300 block of Wis. 104, Town of Decatur.

On Saturday, no injuries were reported after Laurel T. Taylor, 54, Darlington, struck a deer in the W7900 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan.

On Sunday, no injuries were reported after Lori L. Riemer, 45, Brodhead, struck a deer in the W1700 block of Wis. 59, Town of Albany.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday, no injuries were reported at 8:12 a.m. after a trailer overturned on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot. Jerry Nielsen, 55, Shullsburg, lost control of his truck and overturned. The truck sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

On Saturday:

• A hit-and-run was reported at 11:08 a.m. on State Street in Argyle.

• No injuries were reported at 7:50 p.m. after a tractor struck a pole on Riverside Lane, Town of Gratiot.

• A deputy assisted the Darlington Police at 11:39 p.m. with an ATV accident in Blackbridge Park in Darlington.
