MONROE - A Monroe man was arrested on a felony charge of dealing pot and two others cited for possession of drug paraphernalia early Wednesday, May 9, during a drug raid in a home on the southwest side of Monroe.

Travis P. Bowles, 23, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver and is in jail awaiting a court appearance, according to a release from the Monroe Police Department.

Jason E. Brown, 29, and Heath N. Goebel, 25, were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.

Marijuana with a street value of about $1,200 was seized, along with suspected prescription medication, at about 6:20 a.m. from a residence in the 500 block of West 21st Street.

The drug search warrant was executed by the State Line Area Narcotics Team with assistance from the Monroe Police and the Lafayette County Sheriff's Metro Emergency Response Team.

Wisconsin court records indicate Bowles has two prior convictions of possessing tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana), stemming from incidents in June and December 2008.
