MONROE - Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday on Ten Eyk road in Decatur township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Ryan R. Hycnar, 19, Brodhead, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and overturned. Hycnar and a passenger, Kimberly M. Kamps, 20, Brodhead, were taken by Brodhead Emergency Medical Service to Mercy Hospital in Janesville. A third person in the vehicle, Ethan K. Douglas, 19, Brodhead, fled the scene and was later located.

He was taken to Saint Mary's Hospital in Madison. Hycnar was arrested for causing injury while driving while under the influence of alcohol. Kamps was cited for underage drinking.

The accident remains under investigation.
