Warren - Sue Ann Elliott, 69 of Warren passed away on October 12, 2010 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, Wisconsin. Sue Ann was born on March 24, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was the daughter of Delmar and Marjorie (Skelton) Dorris. Sue was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. In 1969 she moved to Warren, Illinois. A homemaker for many years she later went to work for the Eaton Corporation in Warren and them Honeywell Micro Switch plant in Warren until her retirement. She was an avid reader, seamstress and quilter. She always looked forward to her Thursday night quilting club. Sue was a fan of Gospel music, especially the Gaithers and had attended many of their concerts. She was a member of the Warren United Methodist Church and has volunteered at the local food pantry. Sue also served as a Girl Scout leader in Warren for many years. She loved to go shopping and could spend hours roaming around Wal-Mart. She kept up the family tradition and a life long fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Her greatest happiness came in spending time with her family, especially her little girls Piper and Evie, they both adored their great grandma and always wanted to go to "Warren, Illinois" to see her.

Sue is survived by her 2 daughters Pam and Cindy Elliott 1 granddaughter Tiffany and 2 great granddaughters Piper and Evie all of Monroe, Wisconsin. 1 brother Don (Claudia) Dorris of Mt. Vernon and many treasured nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; Steven on March 31, 1999.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pastor Yoshiya Takahashi will officiate the memorial service.

Cremation Rites were accorded and burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, IL.
