MONROE - Santino "Tino" A. Paoli, age 62, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.

Tino was born and raised in Chicago, Ill. He married his wife Caren in 1988 and they were happily married for 22 years. Tino worked for the United States Postal Service from 1973 to 2007. The Lord blessed him with a son, Jeff, who was his pride and joy. In 1997 Tino and his wife Caren moved to Wisconsin to take care of his parents. Jeff later married Nikki in January 2009. Tino had a very special grandson Zander and another grandson on the way. Tino enjoyed singing, listening to music, playing games, working on the computer, spending time with family and working on and around the house. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church of South Wayne, Wis. He had a special relationship with his sister Lana and her husband Roger who also moved to Wisconsin in 2003. Tino's number one priority was his family. He had many strong family relationships and a very special bond with his son Jeff, his grandson Zander, and his nephews Marcus and Anthony. He touched many lives.

Santino is survived by his son, Jeff (Nikki) Paoli of Monroe; a sister, Madeline (Roger) Allison of Cadiz Township, Wis.; six brothers, Michael (Debbie) Paoli of Bartlet, Ill., Thomas (Pam) Paoli of Naperville, Ill., Theodore (Teresa) Paoli of Mt. Prospect, Ill., Mark (Allison) Paoli of Lindenhurst, Ill., Steven (Ann) Paoli of Northfield, Minn., and Ronald (Carol) Paoli, of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Zander Paoli and "baby on the way." He is also survived by nephews, Sean Cowley, Christopher Paoli, Anthony Paoli, Marcus Paoli, John Paoli, Ronald Paoli; and great-nephews, Chase, Colin, and Bobby; nieces, Lisa Tackett, Kristen Zimmerman, Dena Minarczyk, Nikki Schatzeder, Cassie Paoli, Ashley Paoli, Allison, Paoli, Geena Paoli, Alyssen Paoli and Maggie Paoli; great-nieces, Morgan, Amanda, Charlotte and Holly; and many other cousins and relatives.

Santino was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Marty.

Funeral Services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Drive, Monroe. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

A special thank you to Jeff and Nikki for all the wonderful care and time spent with Tino and Caren during the past month, it meant a lot to both of them.
