Rose Marie Ianno (nee Conway), beloved wife of Frank, passed away peacefully at home in Pomona, CA on August 28, 2017 surrounded by Frank and her loved ones. Born in Monroe, WI, Rose and her family moved to Milwaukee when she was young.
After a few years as a dental assistant at Marquette, she ventured to California, where she became a dedicated employee of Pacific Bell. Rose often returned to the Midwest to visit and celebrate with family. In 1994, she suffered a stroke yet remained involved, talking with various family and friends daily. Rose Marie was a beautiful person inside and out, and was loved by many. Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Agnes Conway and sister Patricia LaSalle (late Norbert). Cherished sister of Anthony Conway (late Winifred, late Betty), Kathleen Arnas (late Roy, William (late Julia), Marcia Dellefield (Larry), Rita Legnante (late Kim) and many nieces and nephews. Rose Marie was the adored godmother to Joseph Arnas (late Kathleen) (Terri), Michelle Hilliard (Richard), Erin Arnas, and sister in law to Jean Pederson, and Chuck Ianno. Rose Marie's wry sense of humor, unflappable calm, and loving generosity will be deeply missed by all.
Rose's family will forever be grateful for the love and compassionate care she received from her devoted angels, Gloria and Nativity Alcaraz. Special thanks to Rose's sister Marcia, for her tenacity, Fr. Bravo and the ladies of St. Madeleine Church for religious comforts.
Funeral was held in Pomona, California. Memorial mass being scheduled in Milwaukee, WI.
