Ronald Brandt, age 64 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station with Reverend Steven Keller officiating with military rites provided by the Harold B. Larkin American Legion Post 187, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home

Ronald was born December 11, 1944 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, the son of Leo and Madeline (Cesar) Brandt. He attended schools in Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids and also lived in Monroe, Wisconsin for many years where he had many friends. In 1989 he moved to Wisconsin Dells. In June of 2001 he married his soul mate, Donna Gerez in Adams, Wisconsin. Ron enjoyed life to the fullest, always there to lend a hand or tell a joke. He cherished his time spent with family and friends and especially his grandchildren. His interests included his red corvette and motorcycle and he loved his job at Holiday Wholesale/Vacationland Vendors where he had many friends and associates. Ron was a member of the Mad City Corvette Club, the Moose Lodge in Monroe, Wisconsin, the Harold B. Larkin American Legion Post 187, Wisconsin Dells, and he enjoyed playing horseshoes at Leo's Bar in Lyndon Station.

Ron is survived by his wife, Donna of Lyndon Station; children, Teena (Eric) Fey, Ron (Heidi) Brandt, Jr., and Brian (Amy) Brandt all of Monroe, Belinda (John D.) Rose of Wisconsin Dells, Jeremy Rose of Evansville, Wisconsin and Dan (Becky) Schutte of Blanchardville, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Michelle, Chris and Kyle Priebe, Kaitlyn Fey, Seth and Hans Brandt, Ruby Brandt and Drake Schutte; father, Leo Brandt of Wisconsin Rapids; brothers, Larry, Terry and Gary; sisters, Charlene, Karen and Sharon; and a host of friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline.
