DARLINGTON - Roger Kieffer, age 50 of Darlington, WI, died following a brief illness on Friday, December 26, 2008 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison with his family by his side. He was born on February 11, 1958 to Francis and Donna (Lehnen) Kieffer. He graduated from Darlington High School in 1977 and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Roger was a generous person, and his generosity will continue through his gift of organ and tissue donation.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Kieffer of Darlington; his brothers and sisters: Linda (Wayne Utterback) Kieffer of Oconomowoc, Nicky (Rose) Kieffer of Darlington, Jean Kieffer of Monroe, Ted (Deb) Kieffer of Dodgeville; his nieces and nephews: Tracy (Dan) Brunton, Cheryl, Kristy, Michelle, Kurtis, and Shane Kieffer; a great-nephew, Joey Turpin; two great-nieces: Kaylee Sue Neff and Emma Rose Brunton; a special aunt, Ann Tibbits of Mineral Point; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis, on July 8, 2003.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCH in Darlington. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at STEIL CAMACHO FUNERAL HOME, 206 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, WI, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m.
