NEW GLARUS - Richard Gordon Wainwright, age 83, of New Glarus passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the New Glarus Home. He was born on September 14, 1928 at Shorewood, WI to his parents Clarence and Arminta (Van Matre) Wainwright. Richard graduated from Monroe High School and then earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
