Reward increased for 2018 fatal hit and run traffic crash

JANESVILLE — The family of William Church has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s) in this case. 

Just after midnight on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, William Church was fatally struck by an unknown vehicle while walking on N. County M near W. Hill Rd., just north of the Evansville city limits in Union Township. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is seeking information about this regarding vehicles or persons of interest involved in the crash, which fled the scene. 

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate this crime.

In 2021 the family of William Church raised additional funding for this cash reward.
