Rev. Paul E. Aultman

Rev. Aultman entered eternal life February 6, 2012, age 92, after serving in the pulpit for 70 years. He was born December 28, 1919 to Paul J. and Anna J. (Hoesly) Aultman of Monticello.

Paul grew up in Monticello, attended grade school, and graduated from Monticello High School in 1937. He received a Bachelor of Theology degree in May 1944 from Mission House Theological Seminary, Plymouth WI. Sunday June 18, 1944 Paul was ordained as a minister in a ceremony at the Zwingli Church in Monticello.

Paul began his service to God in Thornville, OH at Trinity UCC from 1944-1948. He was then called to St. Luke UCC in Cincinnati, OH where he remained till 1982. His "retirement" was spent serving the congregation of Fellowship Chapel, Mason, OH for an additional 20 years. He delivered his last sermon in December 2011 and passed away in February 2012.

Paul leaves behind many cousins, to name a few, Jan MacIntyre-Greene, Sauk City, Jeff Moustafa, Patterson, LA, Doug MacIntyre, San Antonio, TX, Kim Tschudy, New Glarus, Scott Zeigler, Arzberg, Germany, Jennifer Greene, Sauk City, and many friends and classmates he kept in touch with over his lifetime.

Pauls' cremains will be buried next to his infant brother in Highland Cemetery in a graveside service Tuesday, October 7 at 11 am. Pastor Mary Gafner of Washington Reformation UCC officiating.
