Ralph Curtis "Rosie" Jones, age 71, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born on November 17, 1943 in Monroe, the son of Ralph and Lorraine (Falk) Jones.
Curt was a hog farmer in the Albany area and also worked at GM for several years. He later bartended for Brewers Center Tavern in Albany. Rosie will be most remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Jones Schultz of Stoughton, sons, Daniel Jones of Albany and Michael Jones of Argyle; sister, LaVon (Dan) Flynn of Oregon; longtime - partner and special friend, Sandie Frontzak of Monticello; her children: Randall Flesher, Stacy Busjahn, and Kord Flesher; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many friends and a special aunt, Jane Wikum of Stoughton.
He is predeceased by his father, Ralph.
A brief prayer and remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at the Albany Lion's Club conducted by Pastor Mary Gafner, and then a continuance of sharing of Curt's life will continue until 3:30 p.m. at the Albany Lion's Club.
A memorial fund is being established in Curt's memory.
