DARLINGTON - The Darlington Police Department has made an arrest in a rash of vehicle thefts Aug. 13, according to a statement from Darlington police.
Joshua Bockorney, 18, of Darlington, was arrested at 5 p.m. Aug. 14, and jailed in connection with the thefts. Two other adults, who are not from the area, are being sought in connection with the crimes as well. The matter remains under investigation.
Officers have confirmed at least 14 vehicles were unlawfully entered overnight Aug. 13 and valuables were removed. Taken items include, cash, purses, cellular phones and stereo equipment. None of the vehicles were locked at the times of entry.
