MONROE - Zachary R. Ackerman, 17, Monroe was arrested for disorderly conduct under the domestic abuse law, following a report of a domestic incident at about 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of 21st Street. Police report Ackerman allegedly struck a 69-year-old male family member, causing minor injury. The victim did not seek medical attention. Ackerman was released pending court.

n A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday with an investigation of a residential burglary on E. Water Street in Shullsburg.
