Monroe Police

MONROE - Christopher L. Sibley, 28, Monroe, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. Sunday for felony bail jumping in the 600 block of 17th Street. Sibley was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Theodore A. Bauer, 37, South Wayne, was arrested at 12:09 p.m. Sunday after deputies found his vehicle parked in the roadway in the W8600 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Cadiz. Bauer was arrested for driving while intoxicated, second offense. He was also cited for improper parking on the highway and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. Bauer was released to a responsible party.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy assisted Iowa County deputies with locating a vehicle at 12:07 a.m. on U.S. 151, Belmont Township.

• Deputies assisted Darlington police with an intoxicated subject on Main Street, Darlington, at 11:20 p.m.

On Saturday:

• A deputy responded to a report of livestock on the roadway at 12:56 a.m. on County U, Seymour Township.

• A deputy was dispatched at 1 p.m. to an injured animal on Wisconsin 23, Darlington Township.

Sunday:

• Jason P. Lawinger, 34, Dodgeville, was arrested at 1:53 a.m. for driving while intoxicated on Wis. 11, Shullsburg Township.

• A deputy and Belmont police responded to a domestic dispute on West Moundview Avenue, Village of Belmont, at 6:54 p.m.

• Deputies were dispatched at 7:12 p.m. to a disorderly conduct call on Main Street, Village of Gratiot.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, Sept. 1:

• Police took a report of theft from an unsecured vehicle parked in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue at 2:58 p.m. The incident remains under investigation.

• Police responded at 10:44 p.m. to a report of a man who had ingested several pills and then left on foot from a residence in the 500 block of 10th Avenue. Officers located the subject and placed him in protective custody. Belleville police and New Glarus EMS assisted on scene.

• Police took a report of gas stolen from a vehicle at 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of 6th Avenue. The incident remains under investigation.

On Thursday:

• Police received a complaint at 5:46 p.m. of an injured fox in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue. Upon arrival the officer located and found a deceased fox. The fox was disposed of.

• Police took a report of a damaged entrance door to a business at 5:54 p.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street. It appeared as though someone was pushing on the locked door and cracked the glass.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On Sunday, Aug. 31:

• James J. Cansler, 30, Brodhead, was arrested at 12:41 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, open intoxicants in a vehicle, driving without a valid license and driving in a restricted area in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue. Cansler was released pending court.

• Maurc A.D. Taylor, 18, Janesville, was cited at 12:41 a.m. for underage alcohol consumption in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue. Taylor was released pending court.

• Anthony M. Ryan, 25, Geneva, Ill., was cited at 12:41 a.m. for open intoxicants in the vehicle as a passenger in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue. Ryan was released pending court.

On Monday, Sept. 1:

• A juvenile boy from Brodhead was arrested at 4:29 p.m. for possession of marijuana in the 500 block of 12th Street. The juvenile was released pending court.

• A juvenile girl from Brodhead was cited at 7:07 p.m. for intimidation of a witness. The juvenile was released pending court.

• Jodie K. Murray, 43, Davis, Ill., was cited at 10:17 p.m. for disorderly conduct in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Murray was released pending court.
