MONROE - Lori Hawkins, 40, Monroe, was arrested for battery under the domestic abuse laws following a disturbance at about 3:15 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of West 17th Street. Robert R. Hawkins, 37, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct under domestic abuse laws and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense. Lori Hawkins was jailed. Robert Hawkins was released pending court.
