Monroe Police

MONROE - Clarence Heidenreich, 54, Monroe, was arrested at 9:48 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of 10th Street on an outstanding warrant issued by the Whitewater Police Department. Heidenreich posted bond and was released.

• Scott K. Wright, 53, Monroe, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. Saturday for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and false imprisonment in the 1200 block of 9th Street. Wright was jailed pending court.

On Sunday:

• Amanda D. Winston, 25, Freeport, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. for battery to a law enforcement officer, attempted battery to an officer, resisting an officer, obstruction, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver and for two counts of disorderly conduct after an officer investigated an altercation in the 1300 block of 17th Street. Police chief Fred Kelley said Winston became belligerent while an officer was interviewing another subject and she was taken into custody for obstruction. As she was being put into a squad car she allegedly kicked an officer twice. Kelley said the officer suffered very minor injuries. Winston was jailed pending court.

• Lizzie Winston, 24, Freeport, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. for obstruction in the 1300 block of 17th Street as a part of the same altercation as listed above. Winston was released pending court.

• Torrence Ivory, 34, Freeport, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. for obstruction in the 1300 block of 17th Street as a part of the same altercation as listed above. Ivory was released pending court.

• Christie L. Saxer, 24, Freeport, was arrested at 2:33 a.m. in the 1300 block of 17th Street on a warrant issued through the Albany Police Department. Saxer posted bond and was released.

• Nathaniel R. Bevins, 28, Monroe, was arrested for retail theft in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. Bevins was released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Paul Jerome Lajter Schaefer, 21, Monroe, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. Friday on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Schaefer was arrested at the Green County Justice Center and jail pending court.

• Fernando Trujillo Alpizar, 24, Rockford, was cited at 4:45 p.m. Sunday for driving without a driver's license in the W1100 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Spring Grove. Trujillo Alpizar was released pending court.

• James L. Reed, 61, Monroe, was arrested at 12:56 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated, second offense, driving left-of-center, driving without insurance, open intoxicants and criminal driving after revocation. Reed was stopped on Wisconsin 81 west of County M, Town of Jordan. He was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy responded at 4 p.m. to a residence to keep the peace during a civil dispute on School Street, Village of Blanchardville.

• A deputy responded to a 911 hang up call at 11:40 p.m. at a residence on Johnson Road, Shullsburg Township. The call was deemed unfounded.

On Saturday:

• Deputies investigated a report of suspicious activity on Wicks Road, Township of Gratiot at 12:37 a.m. A vehicle was located and deemed to be a traffic hazard and subsequently towed from the scene.

• Robert J. Carley, 34, Belmont, was arrested at 11:08 a.m. for disorderly conduct as the result of a domestic disturbance on Mound Avenue, Village of Belmont. Carley was jailed and later released pending court.

On Sunday:

• A deputy took a report of criminal damage to property at a residence on Thompson Lane, Monticello Township at 12:48 p.m.

• A deputy responded to a report of a domestic dispute at 7:46 p.m. at a location on County D, Wayne Township.

On Monday:

• Deputies responded at 4:48 a.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance on Wisconsin, Benton Township.

• Deputies responded to a report of harassment on County D, Fayette Township at 10:02 p.m.



Albany Police

ALBANY - James T. Smith, 20, Albany was arrested on Monday, Aug. 25, in the 300 block of East Main Street for violating a temporary restraining order.

• Tyler G. Heise, 27, Milton, was arrested on Sunday, for felony bail jumping and obstruction.

• Maria F. De La Torre-Marin, 22, Madison, was arrested for drinking alcohol outside.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police received a report of a scam at 7:33 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, of a male subject calling a citizen claiming he was with the federal government and had grant money.

• Police responded at 3:50 p.m. Thursday, for a report of a man sleeping under a bridge on Wis. 69. No one was located.

• Police took a report of vandalism to a mailbox at 12:05 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Grossenbacher Lane.
