Albany Police

ALBANY - A male juvenile from Albany was cited Saturday for underage possession of tobacco.

• Ronal Alexander Cruz Zambrano, 28, Albany, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence and cited for driving without a valid license and operating left of center.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Matthew S. Petrovich, 26, Chicago, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 7:41 p.m. at the tractor pull at the Green County Fairgrounds, 2600 10th Street. He was jailed. In Green County Circuit Court on Monday, his surety bond was set at $1,000 with instructions that he immediately complete processing at the police department. He has a pre-trial conference Dec. 1.

• Dennis K. Wild, 63, Evansville, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 8:22 p.m. in the 1600 block of 17th Avenue. He was released pending court.

• Amanda J. Anderson, 33, Albany, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. in the 400 block of West 8th Street on an outstanding warrant issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. She was transported to the Lafayette County Jail in Darlington and remains in custody.

• Stephani R. Larson, 30, Albany, was arrested on a charge of retail theft at 11:56 p.m. at Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W. She allegedly shoplifted about $60 in merchandise from the Walmart. She was also arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department for retail theft. She posted the required bond and was released pending court.

On Sunday:

• Charles R. Bentayou, 52, Monroe, was arrested around 7:30 a.m. on a charge of criminal trespass to a dwelling, after a resident in the 2500 block of 10th Street called police to report that he woke up that morning to discover a stranger sleeping on a couch in his family's home. Police arrived to find Bentayou still sleeping on the couch and woke him up. Bentayou had apparently been drinking and let himself into the unlocked residence to sleep. He was released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Brent M. Alderman, 32, Brodhead, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated, as well as misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct, after deputies responded at 12:38 a.m. to a report of a domestic dispute in the N2200 block of County K, Town of Clarno. The suspect, identified as Alderman, had left the scene in a motor vehicle but was located a short time later. He was jailed. His signature bond is set at $1,500 with conditions that he not drink or have contact with the alleged victim or a residence in Streamwood, Ill. He has a pre-trial conference Dec. 1.

• James E. Edison, 54, Madison, was cited for speeding and driving with a revoked license at 7:48 a.m. in the N7400 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus.

• John William Osterdock, 45, and Leann Marie Osterdock, 45, both of Brodhead, were arrested after deputies responded at 11:09 p.m. to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Borchardt Road, Town of Decatur. Leann was arrested for domestic-abuse-related disorderly conduct and on a State of Illinois warrant for possession of a dangerous drug. She was jailed. John was arrested on a State of Illinois warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge. He was uncooperative with deputies and was transported to the Monroe Clinic ER for medical clearance for the jail. While at the ER, he became disorderly and threatened bodily harm to both law enforcement officers and the attending ER doctor. When deputies tried to put him back in the squad car for transport to jail, he resisted and attempted to spit on deputies. He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and jailed.

On Sunday:

• Taylor John Goodman, 26, South Wayne, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated (alcohol-related) and cited for operating left of center and driving without proof of vehicle insurance after deputies responded at 6:33 p.m. to a traffic complaint in the W6600 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe. He was released pending court.

• Brandon M. Kelsey, 22, Beloit, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated (drug-related) after deputies stopped him for a traffic violation at 9:48 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Brodhead. Kelsey was also cited for possessing drug paraphernalia and driving without tail lights. A passenger, Charles J. Starrett, 23, Janesville, was arrested on a City of Janesville warrant for failure to pay a fine on a drug paraphernalia possession citation and was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia. The rear passenger and registered owner of the vehicle, Cassandra G. Thompson, 19, Beloit, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt, allowing operation of an uninsured vehicle and possessing drug paraphernalia. Kelsey and Thompson were released pending court. Starrett was turned over to the Rock County Sheriff's Department.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Joel Fonseca, 41, Warren, Ill., was cited for speeding at 4:16 a.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.

• A deputy responded at 6:33 a.m. to County J, Town of Benton, for an animal on the roadway.

• Deputies responded to check welfare at 8:07 a.m. on County Y, Town of Argyle.

• Trespassing on land was reported at 9:10 a.m. on Buncombe Road, Town of Benton.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 2:02 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted on scene.

• A deputy responded at 3:34 p.m. to County G, Town of Belmont, for a 911 hangup.

• A deputy responded to reports of traffic complaints at 4:25 p.m. to County F, Town of Fayette; at 7:19 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle; and at 8 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

• A deputy responded at 8:15 p.m. to School Street in Gratiot for a noise complaint.

• A deputy assisted Darlington police at 10:33 p.m. on Madison Street.

• A deputy responded at 10:49 p.m. to Pleasant View Lane, Town of Belmont, for a suspicious vehicle.

On Saturday:

• Deputies assisted Shullsburg police at 2:51 a.m. on South Kennedy Street.

• A hit-and-run was reported at 10:10 a.m. on Pleasant View Road, Town of Seymour. Later in the day, Remedios Gutierrez-Juares, 27, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to report an accident. Gutierrez-Juarez was southbound on Pleasant View Road when she went off the east side of the road and crashed into a pole. Her 2002 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

• Timothy Schmid, 35, South Wayne, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone and driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 10:20 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• A deputy responded at 1:46 p.m. to Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove, for a traffic complaint.

• Eduardo Villarreal, 19, Streamwood, Ill., was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 1:59 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 4:38 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota.

• A deputy responded at 5:47 p.m. to U.S. 151, Town of Kendall, for a traffic complaint.

• Thomas White, 68, Memphis, Tenn., was cited for speeding at 8:15 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:30 p.m. on County M, Town of Darlington.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:43 p.m. on Holland Road, Town of Seymour.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 11:04 p.m. on Dawn Vista Terrance in Belmont. Platteville police and University of Wisconsin-Platteville Campus police assisted deputies on scene.

• Brian Mason, 28, and Matthew Ostby, 28, both of Argyle, and Josh Penniston, 32, Belmont, were all arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 11:17 p.m. to a complaint of disorderly conduct on South Main Street in Blanchardville. The three men were jailed.

On Sunday:

• A deputy responded to check welfare at 8 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 8:35 a.m. on South Road, Town of Wiota.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:42 a.m. on Fox Road, Town of Wiota.

• A hit-and-run that resulted in property damage was reported at 9:43 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:59 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:23 a.m. on South Sidney Street in Shullsburg.

• A deputy responded at 1:25 p.m. to Bond Road, Town of Fayette, for a traffic complaint.

• A suspicious person was reported at 1:31 p.m. on West Moundview Avenue in Belmont.

• Livestock on the roadway was reported at 1:39 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy responded to check welfare at 4 p.m. on Monroe Street in Argyle.

• A deputy assisted the Grant County Sheriff's Department at 4:28 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

• A deputy responded to check welfare at 7:50 p.m. on Lafayette Street in Argyle.
